Minutes of the Planning Committee held in the Trust Room on Tuesday 27th April at 7.30 pm
PRESENT: 5 Councillors: Cllr. P. Pudduck (Chairman), Cllr J. Ferris, Cllr. A. Lovell, Cllr. H. Newcombe and Cllr. G. Sowerby. One member of the public was present and Mrs E Illingworth (Clerk)
P/028/10 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE (1) Apologies were received from Cllr. J. Henshall and Cllr. A. Pithers.
P/029/10 MINUTES (2) The Minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held on Tuesday 23rd March were signed as a correct record.

P/031/10 STATEMENTS/QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC (4) One member of the public spoke concerning the application for Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, 30/519/10/LB.

OBJECTION (unanimous) Reasons: - The area is within the South Devon Coastal Footpath, AONB and Coastal Preservation Area. - The architectually interesting stone wall should not be removed. - The property has planning permission approval for a double garage in existence

OBJECTION (Unanimous) Reasons: - The development is not in keeping with the historical design, which is in a conservation area. - There will be a loss of public view.
