KINGSWEAR

                                  HISTORIANS

Welcome to our new season of talks

FOR 27th  SEPTEMBER  2010:

Charles Seale Hayne was a very significant figure in Kingswear history; find out more about him from an expert, Ian Handford, from the Torbay Civic Society.  Seale-Hayne’s name is commemorated on the station building in Kingswear, but why?

After coffee Ian will give a further brief talk on Robert Graves, writer and poet, who lived in Galmpton during WW2.  This promises to be a most interesting evening.  Kick-off 7:30 pm as usual in the upper hall.

If anyone has a raffle prize which they would be willing to contribute towards funds we would be very grateful to receive it.
